Thread: wth is Skittles

i dont see the site as an "extremely judgmental site run by extremely judgmental people who for some reason feel the need to try and prove themselves superior to anyone else". the atmosphere is very friendly and familiar, atleast since i am there and from what i saw.. surely this is nothing the majority of fst has any interest in.

I think you read wrong They only allow stuff to be posted two months after the official US release.
    Why is that exactly?

Because they value security or something. It's described in the pictures I posted, I think.

I understand when a new release comes out that some are fake. Like albums that people label retail when it is a mixtape or a cam labeled dvdr. I was too lazy to read all that in those screens. 2 months is a while and would it not still be illegal? How does that ensure security?

"Banned Content: All movies and music are banned until two months after the United States DVD/CD release. We take this rule seriously, so don't break it."
That's all I could find on the matter. It seems like a silly way to keep your tracker secure, especially with an exclusive one like Skittles

The MPAA has a history of going after pre-/early releases, so I'm assuming the 2 month waiting period is to keep them off their radar. At least, as far as pre-releases / early releases go.

I can't think of a case involving an "older" movie where the MPAA has really gone after anyone.
