Thread: switching from Utorrent to Transmission

    i'm on mac and i'm switching from utorrent to transmission.
    any advice on migrating?
    i had it set to trash torrent files so will i have to download each individually?

    Why don't you try qBittorrent it's more uTorrent like and it's built for OS X too.

    Maybe because that client is whitelisted pretty much nowhere

    They should still be stored in your uTorrent's session directory, but I have no clue where that is on a mac.

    I made the same switch. Used to be very happy with utorrent, but now even happier with Transmission.
    It's lightweight and runs very smooth.
