    Isnt usenetnow a reseller of the same company as ngroups?
    Then i'd be worried about download speed on older stuff

    And that's why competition is a good thing, as well as not prepaying for a year in advance. If you don't like the service simply cancel and move on to somewhere else.

    all good for me today. I am back to visiting univeristy lan connection and getting about 85 mbits as i type this! =) using us server.

    The speed is definitely not consistent.

    People can say what they want about Highwinds, but honestly they give me the most steady speed per connection of any usenet provider and I have tried pretty much all of them.
