How can I share this without getting in trouble. I'm thinking of opening a forum, blog or website (offshore is best I'm told with proxy servers) and using filesonic or some of those other servers so I can upload and post the links.
Not looking to make money but I'm retired with lots of time on my hands and when I'm gone soon, the records and CD's will probably be boxed up, 35 terabytes (12 WD 3 tb drives from Costco and still growing) of my digitized collection of music (including most of the top 500 billboard hits of every year since 1954 in lossless) Complete 200 CD mobile DJ compilations from Canada including the VERY hard to get "Platinum Series" (if you're a mobile DJ, you'll know how valuable these were when they came out) all in Lossless FLAC. plus COMPLETE subscription DJ monthly series since the early 90's and HD videos and movies, unbelievable collections of complete TV series, many in MKV 720p (MUCH better than DVD's and all play great on a WDTV device you can get cheap at Best Buy), and software. All my drives will most likely be reformatted and sold at a garage sale for pennies on the dollar, 35,000 12" records sold at estate auctions, 25,000 45's too. I am single and have no one to give it to in a Will that would appreciate it's value.
It makes me sick that my life's collection and work will be gone. I have made thousands of promotional DJ mixes and they will probably disappear too. 70's disco, 80's House and collectibles, country, Spanish, and Trance, House, tens of thousands of rare remixes and dance tracks and Oldies that would make your eyes pop out, Hot Traxx, Ultimix, X-Mix, etc etc. all will be gone. ugghhhh Maybe I'm becoming some kind of obsessive insane senile philanthropist but I just can't stand to see this stuff formatted and wiped clean after I'm gone, like it never existed.
I stumbled on this site, maybe some of you have some ideas along the lines I'm thinking of with a forum, blog or website and servers I can upload to. Like I said I have nothing but time until the good Lord calls me home. I just don't want to spend my retirement on legal fines and spend my "golden" years in jail by doing this. I just want my rare collection to live on. How is this done?
thanks all...Frank
..... ciao
