    *Edit* You said external hdd. I would only use that for mp3's. How is one supposed to get the full experience off an external drive.

    I've heard if you jam the drive head directly into your eyeball it gives you a lossless data tunnel directly into your brain. If you attempt this (as anyone who cares about quality should), be sure to do so on webcam, so we can all bask in your amazing read/write speeds.
