who ever buys this has got to be f'in dumb. its a lot of money for something that will work until Sony upgrades the firmware. Great achievement but I wonder how long it'll take for this to hit the internet anyway lol

From what I gather, it's the real thing, and it sounds about right. If it does work, I know one more PS3 that will reminisce upon moments of going online in-games.
Although, this seems much less elaborate than geohotz' work.

That's a fairly new article. And 50gb blu rays are dual layer. That article is refering to 33gb per layer.How old is that?
