Avira AntiVirus (Free) + SuperAntiSpyware (Free) + OpenDNS is what I use.Not a problem in years.

Agree with duke0102... have been using Kaspersky for 4 or 5 years now and wouldn't change... a score of 16 out of 18 is good enough for me

Been using Kaspersky for some time now. Maybe 16 out of 18, but I'm not convinced by the program.

KIS 2010 ... not straightforward enough for me.
Configuring this behemoth is a real pain in the ass imo.
I want an AV to be an AV. No need for banner-blockers and the likes.

Have removed it recently and installe M$ essentials and up till now very satisfied!

I use MSE and it detects nothing, hopefully because I don't download em. Used to use kaspersky and I loved it, but I've found free ones will get the job done so I went that route

virus protection always failed me so i run bareback and just pay attention to which portals i enter...and on my other machine i run ubuntu which does a good job at keeping most malicious software out
