I've got too many drives to have them in enclosure and not enough for a rack ... might look into a small rack, say one that fits 10 hdds?

Is that consistent? Wouldn't posting be a more accurate marker for activity? Granted, the majority of comments in BT are spam, so that may simply say something (a lot) about the group. But merely as a marker of activity, I would still rely on number of posts...

The growing interest in NZB does make me curious about it. I think I may have to give it a shot.

Though I have no access to the figures, I would say the NZB section has more hits, while the BT one has more posts (if we don't count NZB posts as such).

If you try usenet, you might never look at bt the same way again. You'll see in perspective a lot of the bullshit that goes on and the wasted economics around it, such as the seedbox business. As an example, renting a good seedbox is as expensive as 1 year of usenet access. I got on a promotion on the past black friday where I pay 4€ per month, maximum bandwidth and around 800 days of retention. It's the price of a pack of cigarettes.

Also, check our promotions (you can see banners everywhere and sticky threads) for really great deals. Some of them are the best on the web. Just use our links if you decide to go ahead, it will help to pay for the servers and you'll sleep better at night.

Should you decide to give it a try, first read Rart's sticky thread on the newsgroups section and PM me for free access.

Do you know the average age of a hardcore bittorrent user? The answer is 12, there are some mature age users who tend to write tutorials on how to circumvent the ratio system for the script kiddies.

    Moving on...
