As long as I've got a face
You've got a place to sit
a bloke in our office had that (or rather a variant of it) t'other week.
i bewted in sayfe mowde and ran malwarebytes wot picked up sum of it, then i looked in task manager processes and found it's process nayme. then searched the registry, deleting every string that mentioned it and also found its location from one of them (was hidden in user profile/temp) then that seemed to stop it. no doubt its left files behind but they can't do anything.
just saying lyke![]()
Yeah I ran Malware bytes and Spybot in safe mode. Thought I deleted it. I ran the task manager and killed the running app. Restarted to see if my 1337 skills worked and it did ... couple days later and the fucka is back again.
This is what I hate about flat mates LANing in ma room, they always manage to fuck up the Windows partition. Oh well thank god USB drivers work in safe mode, backed all my shit up and put a fresh install of Win 7 Home Premium 64bit ... now all I need is a working crack.
If I had my own may i would of stolen Windows 7 UltaMegaite from the interwebz or msdnaa, lets see what Win 7 home is lyke.
