Oh and the funds all went to Oxfam, for the East Africa appeal I think.
There were 54,000 there, plus TV money, plus 3 fans won auctions to play, plus txt giving.
John Kennedy was supposed to get a load as his testimonial, but he said it could all go to Oxfam. His career was effectively ended by a bad tackle against him in a Scotland "friendly" It was about 15 minutes into his international debut, he was about 21 at the time. He played a bit after that, but his career was effectively over.
