Turns out the one they've sent me is hactually a matrix and more expensive than the one I ordered (despite it being unbranded).
I don't know whether or not to keep it tho', I don't rly need a matrix when a splitter would do the jawb. I don't have a need to have both displays showing different stuff at once, like.

I looked on their webshite, like. The one they've sent me is listed as being by infinius (the same make as the one I ordered) but it just doesn't have any branding on it. My only concern is that it might be a bit shit when it comes to hdcp handshakes and stuff. I'm going to be running the pc with a bluray drive through it (along with xbawx and skyhd) and I don't want it dropping the signal.
edit: assuming it is inifinius, it should hopefully be fine, like
