The one major annoyance about being brought up in a wog household is that I'm not very appreciative of Australian culture.
It's currently 11:09pm and I'm finishing a report which is due tomorrow. One of my flat mates finished work and asked me if I wanted a snack, I said "sure why not?". Couple minutes later he comes with a bowl of chips with a shitlaod of tomato sauce. I said thanks and went on with my business.
What the fuck is wrong with these people? I didn't expect anything oriental but sauce and chips? Fuck me, my mum would kill me if she saw what I've become.
I've always wondered what Australia's staple food was. England has baked beans on toast, seems Australia has tomato on chips.
