It is good to have a basis for data usage. That is very reassuring. We aren't in a huge hurry, but will keep an eye on the two phones I currently like (Motorola Droid X2, and the HTC Droid Incredible 2). Once we see them meet our $100 price point, we will most likely bite the bullet.
Do you agree with the choices? I know the iPhone 4 is better, but is about twice our budget and may not survive the number of drops that occur over the course of 3+ years. I will admit I am a bit biased against Apple products, so that plays a part in the decision, too.
Off-topic:
Our already tight budget took a serious kick in the nuts when we learned that our much-loved dog had a cancerous thyroid tumor. He had surgery to remove it which, in total (vet, surgeon, check-ups) will about to $2500. We get him back in the morning, and the word is he is doing well.
He has been in great health until now, and the tumor would have grown over the next 4 months, ultimately closing off his throat. We could not bring ourselves to sit by. We were lucky to have caught it early- most of the time, this type of tumor goes unnoticed until it is too late. If we have him around for the next couple years, it was well worth it. Even with a tight budget- he's family.![]()
No need to be sceptical al towards an IPhone . Yes, they are more expensive and out of stock they suck imo. But once jailbreaked they become massive phones.
