FTN - Why so special?

As per title, why is FTN portrayed as the god of private torrent sites?

Surely it's got to be more than just pre-times and speeds..

To answer the original question seeing as there are other ratio-free sites,ones with packs, better pretimes ,way better retention and are "harder to get an invite to" since you apparently have at least the brain power required to type coherent sentences I leave it to you to figure out the answer for yourself.

In my opinion the reason is how difficult is to get an invite to this place . Most of the people who manage to get in don't even use ftn . I remember when sct was online most of the ftn members where using sct instead of ftn , because of the content and the big number of peers
