what is the file type? cos the chances of it being an actual dvd file are very slim,(a dvd is a vob. btw) and would be in the region of 4gb. the file you have is a dvd-rip, most likely an .mpeg or an .avi, wimdows media player will play it with the correct codecs, or why not try avi preview, which you got free with kazaa. if you cant find the codecs, google for gordian knot, which has all the codecs you'll ever need.

You can make make it into a vcd using a regular cd burner. although, it will take a lot of time to encode it to svcd or vcd format, and then it will more than likely have to be split into multiple parts to go on more than one cd.....
it's just such a hassel, you might be better of watching it on your computer or going out and buying the 5 dollar movie.
