    Spoiler: Show

Alright guys, here's the deal my current pc can barely run StarCraft II or any newer games for that matter so I'm considering putting this rig together. I need your thoughts on it and confirmation that everything I've picked out is compatible with each other.

    Motherboard:
    ASUS Crosshair IV Formula AM3

    Processor:
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Quad Core Processor AM3 3.4GHZ
    http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=46281

    Power Supply:
    Corsair Professional Series Gold AX750

    Harddrive:
    Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB SATA3 6GB/S 7200RPM 64MB
    http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=50895

    RAM:
    G.SKILL F3-10666CL7D-4GBRH Ripjaws PC3-10666 4GB 2X2GB DDR3-1333 CL7-7-7-21
    http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...4&promoid=1088

    Videocard:
    EVGA GeForce GTX 460 Fermi
    http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=54474

    Optical Drive:
LG GH24LS50 24X Super Multi Lightscribe SATA DVD Writer
    http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=47343

    Case:
Coolermaster Storm Sniper Black Edition Mid Tower ATX Case

Note:I don't know how much overclocking potential this build would have off the bat with stock cooling, nor do I know if I even want to overclock it. More or less just looking for a solid rig running at stock speeds. Also will a 750W PSU enough to power all this?

AMD just dropped the prices on most of their CPUs last week. I'm wondering if a new generation is about to be released. Also, it usually takes a couple of weeks for the price drop to trickle down.

750 W is LOADS to power that, you'd get away easily with 600 if you could. just make sure to get a reputable brand, so if it craps up and shorts anything you're covered. Silent PSU's are nice too, you dn;t even notice them running

I wouldn't change the PSU... In my opinion, it's never a bad idea to invest a little bit more into a better PSU and you'll probably keep it when you next upgrade your rig.
What's the resolution you use to play your games? Depending on it, I would probably think about a better graphic card. (And if you already have a good nVidia graphic card, I would consider a Radeon to run with it using hybrid physX).

I figured 750W would probably be too much, but you've got to admit that 100% modular design is the cats arse. The only other fully modular PSU is by Seasonic themselves, with the lowest wattage being 650W for the same price ($199.99).
