Personally I hate this type of nonsense and weird for weirdness sake but whatever floats your boat.In 2004, the film was deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" by the United States Library of Congress and selected for preservation in the National Film Registry.
Btw I like good guys with white hats with steely resolve( or bad guys that when the crunch comes turn out to be good ) , causes and women that are worth dying for, happy endings, and hopefully a point.
