I don't understand what's so wrong with this discussion. As I recall most of the participants in this thread, even(*especially) the ones who are mocking it, are members of pretty much every high level tracker and secret forum. So what's the difference between that and the sites that are being discussed in this thread. And I will add, some of those trackers and secret forums are also pretty paranoid and strict when it comes to trying to enforce their rules about publicity. Another similarity is that they also are very hard to join for anyone who doesn't have any connections to their inner circles, which for the most part consists of the same regular members who circulate other high level trackers.never before could a simple smiley summarize an entire discussion until now

One of the exclusive communities I mentioned does not suck ass. It has millions of threads and hundreds of thousands of files, more than most trackers combined. Just because a site is exclusive doesn't mean it has to suck. I will agree with you in many cases that it is true, but then why are some of the people who have posted in this thread still active members of those suckass exclusive communities?
