Checking their posts would be the first thing I'd do.

It's not that meaningless, then. You can be pretty sure that a high BT rep means either someone's given invites away like hell, or traded just as much.

1. check threads started by user
2. skim through his posts
3. go into advanced search and search for the name of the requested tracker after specifying the guy's username. sometimes you find out that the guy already had an account (cf. armandox post history)
whenever people agree with me, i always feel i must be wrong.
