no shit. tv, internet, and phone services at $50-$100 a pop is ridiculous. more if you have a family. the problem is cell phones and internet are still being charged as if they were luxury items. they are essential utilities now but they arent billed as such. cell phones especially.

I mean are you confusing essential with convenient ?
Yes some people require cellphones for work but even then it's more about productivity than necessity.
I might be mistaken but except for cell phone salesmen/technicians I think that all of the jobs that exist now existed before the invention of cellphones.
