That's the reason why there's still a glimmer of hope. Those could easily be technical problems or some issues at their farms.

Down for me as of 11/12/10. I haven't dled anything from here in a while. Is it safe to say it's been down since the end of October or so - and, therefore, safe to say it's DEAD?

Does anyone know if their paid service Budgetnews is down or up?

I'm assuming that both Just4Today and Budgetnews feed off the same server (just4today being retention-restricted) and I'm starting to suspect that the company might have shut down their free service so their paid service would have more bandwidth available. (maybe that was the eventual plan all along?)

Yottanews also had a free (binary) server for a long time, quite a few years, but I don't know if that one is still available. I've not tried it in a long time.
