Need a Media Player HD with WiFi + Torrent + FTP

I'm looking for a stand alone Media Player with:

Wireless 802.11n connectivity
HDD Storage
Supports: dvd .iso, bluray, mkv, avi, mp3, flac
Direct download using a torrent client, or download through ftp from my seedbox.

I would recommend a small pc running on Atom for this purpose.

Something like the Asus eeeBox. I think you can find them on ebay for cheap. or a cheaper alternative like this one:

It comes with ubuntu preinstalled and configured. I have two of these and they are all one needs for the purpose you mentioned.

Does it play smoothly 1080p .mkv and BluRay iso?
It's an Atom, and it has integrated graphic card

WDTV with custom firmware at XDA-developers. I believe it has rtorrent built in, newsgroups support etc.

You're telling me an atom can't beat the WDTV?

Its an atom. I don't have any blueray stuff to check but it does great on my 22" motion pictures are smooth 'n all.

Costs compared I would go for the Atom over other options.

Oh hell yeah with the WDTV Live using the B-rad firmwares. There are TONS of add ons available for it. Not to mention a web front end where you can connect to it directly from any device. My I use my Ipod touch 4g as the remote to play my movies. It uses deluge and you can get rtorrent and a few others. here are some screens of the features. Believe me when I say i have tried EVERY option out there and the WDTV Live is the best bang for your buck out there!

I'm telling you man this IS the way to go. I have an old PC set up as a NAS using freenas as a LARGE storage to feed 4 WDTV live boxes at any given time without any lag or anything.

For about $100 for this box how can you go wrong???

WDTV networked with a PC sounds great. I am waiting till the Christmas season to kick in before I make a go at a Media Player Box. There are a few coming out like the Boxee Box, this month matter of fact. WDTV price point is very alluring though compared to Boxee's $230 though.

Like I said if you read up in my old thread. Artemis,Cabalo and others helped me out by a wholelot. If you have an old PC I mean like a p4 or p3 even you can set up a home server using freenas. When i say it's easy it's EASY AS HELL. I'm now using a e8400 based pc because that's what I have laying around ATM. but at first I had a p4 system and it worked flawlessly. If you listen to any advice from me you should run a hardline though. wireless sounds cool and works most of the time but for the times it doesn't work or gives you issues it's worth it just to run the damn Ethernet cable to the WDTV Live box dude. Where do you live BTW??

I would still vouch for the Atom at 145 you get a full linux distro a 4 gb ssd drive, torrent client of your choice and it has wifi and two outputs supported so you can run another monitor on it at the same time. You can turn it to a pc any time and you can install all sort of things on it.

I think one of the requirements was wifi which I can't seem to find under the product description.

At 125 USD I don't think you can go wrong on it.
