    5 Patches per hour? Unbelievable.
    Couldn't even believe there are that many open bugs, nevermind contributors to patch them.

    A patch is not necessarily a bug fix. Any new code is submitted as a patch whether it's a bug fix, new feature, driver for new hardware, etc. That patch is reviewed and, if approved, it is then integrated into the main code.

    I think number is mostly because most of the patches fixes/improves only one thing
