The demand for the Leaf is much more than they could produce and have reservations for. Preorders were filled in short time earlier this year. I assume the same for the Volt. The Tesla electrics on the other hand, even though they met reservations, are at a different price market. I haven't heard much from them in some time and according to their sinking stock price since they went public I wouldn't be expecting to see them soon.

they are charged with 70~ amperes, make sure your garage electricity source can handle such load. Most average cables can't handle it.
