If you have it installed take it off. It uses an enormous amount of your RAMs for no particularly good reason.

Use AVG and Spybot S&D or do something else.

Do what you want im not your mum ffs!

but i will say this, when i did work for AVG (for all of three months) and the developers from Czech came over to our office, not one of them used AVG on their personal computers.

http://www.avira.com/ is what they did have though, most of them anyway. This was a good two years ago so ....ewe know.... but i still got m8s there on the phones doing support, they say its not bad these days but still not great.

But then for the most case you have to be an utter tard to contract a virus these days, when i do use Windows i just use a really good firewall, http://personalfirewall.comodo.com/

At work we use Mcafee enterprise and its shit. Getting rid of it as soon as the support contract expires.

I just rely on the windaes firewall and the one built into my router.

No idea why it has it like.

We do external support for two companies at the moment and whenever one of their worthless drones gets a virus/trojan etc i just boot into safe mode and run http://www.malwarebytes.org/ as well as a few manual checks in the usual places. Does the job to a good enough standard, gets rid of a good 80% of the infection i'd say. Enough for it to appear gotten rid of

It was kind of intended for proper men.

As opposed to gays and southerners.

Kind of the same thing really.
