    LivingSocial, another Groupon competitor, also recently grabbed headlines for it's 20$ Amazon (a large LS investor) gift card for 10$. Guess these kind of sites are in now... Groupon has been offered to be bought by Google for 6 billion but the offer was turned down, which tells a lot about what people (believe) these sites have in terms of potential.
