As for strict adherence to that rule I would say it's dependent on exactly what those wishes are and exactly how much that stacks up against you keeping your account.

Also without going into detail could we please know what the "philosophical discussion " entailed?
Hopefully not along the lines of " If I were to marry your sister and as a product of our matrimonial bed anally violate her, slap her around a little and then defecate on her would you intellectually ( seeing as we were wed and she herself was fine with it) be OK with me doing that"?

IF it was then trust me ,speaking from experience , those don't tend to go over too well.

PS stick to the "Happy Birthday" and "This site rocks" threads like everyone else and although eventually you will cease to exist under the weight of your own sheer banality in terms of the tracker you will be fine .

I don't know for sure since I wasn't there and don't know details about this case but it seems that staff warned him.

The staffer who had banned me just told me that my ban from hdbits is permanent. Here's the conversation I had with him, "ok, the week has passed. Will you ever unban me on hdbits or am I permanently banned? Just please tell me if I am permanently banned or if you'll unban me one day. I won't be angry at you if you decided to ban me permanently. I know you are a nice guy... it's just that I really miss the site and I really miss the channel, so I am hoping my ban is not permanent." He responded, "the more you ask, the less likely I am to change my mind. it's permanent" And I said to him, "ok".
