"hoping to receive" being the key point there, they might as well ask for the moon lol
This is interesting but old news though http://torrentfreak.com/mpaa-wants-u...sohunt-130729/
Is this in the Canadian Court Circuit or the American Court? The reason why I ask is that if they are a Canadian based company based in Canada, don't the movie trolls have to go through the Canadian courts since American law does not apply here? (Sorry knowledge of the law is limited) Or does the copyright law extend between all united nations?
Nice to see how the MPAA truly values artists and their creativity. The movie studios won’t rest until isoHunt owner Gary Fung is bankrupt. They are willing to hold a judgment over Fung’s head for the rest of his life, as the MPAA stated a few years back.
Fabrizio said “If Gary Fung creates a legitimate website, we’ll be there. If he sells that company for $100 million, we’ll be there. For the rest of his life we’ll be able to pursue that judgment”.
"The movie studio group thinks that this will make others think twice before they start a similar website."
Bwahahahaha!
Are you fucking KIDDING me?! It's been 7 years and the only thing that has changed is that there are MORE and BETTER sites. What the fuck are these guys smoking?
