Why don't just choose "Block" & tick the box:"Always use this action" ?
That's what I do & it works.[/quote]
nope, doesnt work..........
and i tried Sygate, but i dint understand it
great FTP site for awesome quality video clips
yeah, you have to sign up, but its worth it
sygate need to be setted up & doesn't blok popups in websites. however it's efficient for the rest & doesn't use muckh ressources.Originally posted by [-Crono-]@9 November 2003 - 19:42
Easy...just get Sygate.
Are you using e-mule or e-donkey?
What other programs are you using that would communicate when that pops up?
eMule uses Port 4662Originally posted by Virtualbody1234@10 November 2003 - 18:17

programs i really use:
KaZaA
Soulseek
MSN msg 6+
IE 6
Opera 7
Norton AV 2003 Pro
programs i have installed but dont use:
eMule
Bit Torrent
so yes,
i do have eMule, but im not running it (and i still get the pop-ups)
if i close K++ and soulseek i STILL get the pop-ups

Why not just attempt to trace the IP provider's general locale? You will really not get anything more than perhaps some domain information from their service but you can tell by looking at it if the information is so far "out-there" to see if it is truely a threat or not.Originally posted by Storm@8 November 2003 - 19:16
is this really dangerous???
or is NPF just whining about me using K-lite, MSN msg, Soulseek (not connected though)????
its always incomming on port 4662
is there any way to get rid of these popups???? or adjust NPF (version 6.0.4.34)2 not warn me about this specific port????? cause it is kinda getting on my nerves........ just as i click away one, another comes up........ no matter if i block it or not
thnx in advance
From there you can create a "rule" to fit your needs if it is indeed caused by someone using Kazaa to download on that specific port.
