Would you listen to music in a language you didn't understand?

I remember when i started my quest to hear every song in the world (an endeavor that would turn out to be fruitless), i started listening to stuff i didn't understand, it was really hard to be interested because it just didn't sound good to me, until i found a few russian bands that i fell in love with (and tried to learn russian because of, i know some, not alot) and listened to even though at the time i couldn't understand.. i can't explain why one language sounded good to me and all the others didn't at all, but i was wondering what other people think of this.

Yes. There are some really fantastic songs out there regardless of the language spoken. I have read somewhere that not everyone hears music in the same way, some people are supposedly more connected to the lyrics while some fixate on the beat. Maybe the latter would be more open to music in a language different to their own.

If the beat or rhythm is nice, I would.
I listen to Chinese and Japanese music even though I don't understand them.

Yes. It also depends on how the beat is going to give you some funky movements. Not if it's kinda boring and not pleasing to the ears..

I only listen to the songs in the languages (Arabic/French,Turkish,Russian) which i cant understand, its probably for the love of the genre (Ethnic) but the quality of singing and style of delivering the words also matters.In Arabic where accent largely varies a lot from one country to another, I enjoy listening to some artists and some other not.
