Are Aboriginals First Nations bothered by the fact that South East Asians are referred to as Indians or is that an entirely different thing?
Also since it's "wrong" to put Indians Aboriginals First Nations people in headdress on sports team logos would it be acceptable to have one pictured in a business suit standing in a casino?

I should point out that until someone has been here a while, and shown to have an actual personality- and dare I hope for a brain, I don't actually give two squirts of Oleg semen about them. However, I do try to be somewhat friendly to anyone who can place more than six words in a post (not even requiring above moderate coherence). I do understand that this leaves me open to trolls and gives (a perceived) friendliness where it is not necessarily due. I would like to see some life return to the site. Chasing noobs away before they get their first 20 posts in, while it can be fun, doesn't help retain the potentially decent new members.

Perhaps I am overly optimistic, but have hopes that a board with several thousand members could have more than 30 worth talking to.

Speaking of which, I'm currently into, (well not really into as of yet) this South East Asian girl (Indian for the slow in the crowd). So she asked me out to karaoke night a few weeks back. I got there and there was this couple (a white guy and his white girlfriend - basically a typical ignorant example of the background of anything outside the pub we were hosting the karaoke at).

One thing lead to another, and it was me left with the white boyfriend over a couple of beers. Noticing that I was dragged there willingly (I do enjoy singing in real life, with my friends/band/potential bang) but he wasn't; his girlfriend kind of said "LETS GO THERE THEY'RE SINGING" louder than even the loudest karaoke singer with a mic, I started a conversation with him.

Me: So. How much does it suck being stuck here with people you don't know stirring up unnecessary drama, being blamed for not being cooperative, singing, or being fun - all against your will. Are her pants coming off that important to you?

Moron: No, not at all dude. I love learning about other cultures.

Me: You do realize singing isn't a cultural thing, even if the majority of people here aren't white, don't you?

Moron: But you guys do sing Indian songs.

Me: How does that exactly teach you about a culture anymore than say, youtube, would?

Me: Of course I am. So why don't you save yourself the effort, take your girl, take the beers and go have fun somewhere?

Needless to say, the conversation here reminded me of that night.

What do u want to prove with ur experience, Darth? U want to say u can judge all the South East people by one example? While I try to understand western culture from here. Then what's the difference between u and me?

BTW, India is in South Asia, not South East Asia.
