    Question Mark

Does anyone know when this will be out?

I flippin loved this movie, tied perfectly in with the 1st one.
Some people gave it bad review but most people who i know didnt like it
hadnt seen the first one so i think the movie was only for people who enjoyed the first one.

The first TRON was stupid but for the time, visually arresting.
    The sequel was just stupid.

How does that reaction fit your theory, Dubs?

I haven't seen the sequel so maybe I'm off base but isn't the difference that stupid as Tron may have been it was still attempting to do something worthwhile and original .
The only thing the new one is really attempting to do is profit from fond memories of the first .

    Yes.
Much like Avatar, TRON's visuals overwhelmed its other shortcomings. It was one of- if not the- first movies to really exploit "computer graphics".
The sequel not only has an inane story but the visuals are mediocre at best.

Clocker: As i suspected. You didnt like the 1st one thus you wouldnt like (the storyline) of the second one.
Tron 1, was groundbreaking as it was the first movie to have ever used CGI (15 minutes to be exact) i think that i s why the first one lacked in story line.

Tron Legacy fitted so well because you can tell how far technology has come, in the movie and in real life. They couldnt make leagcy and have it look like the first one that would be silly.
Legacy didnt break any records in CGI or ticket sales but I think that it was well worth it! i did see it 3 times in 3D at the cinemas ha ha

Am i correct in saying clocker that you arent a storyline type of movie fan? as in, you prefer and action flick to a sci-fi flick?
Respect if you do cuz everyone is entitled to their own opinion

Fun fact about Tron Legacy: the suits they wore wer not CGI. They actually had to include a battery pack so that it could luminate the Florescent globes
    althrough their costume.

Yes clocker is well known around here for being a big fan of the mindless action flick.
Though he's never confirmed it I'm fairly certain that he has a Michael Bay screensaver on his computer.

    It's a Ewe Boll screensaver.
    Michael Bay is too intellectual.
