On a mac at least, I find Chrome to be much much faster than firefox, although I haven't tried like latest beta build. I've heard good things about Opera too, but haven't tried it in a long time. Any Opera users here care to comment?

I'm one of them, and I'd advice you to check it out. Opera is fast and has everything I've ever wanted from a browser, been using it for years now. If you don't like it, then at least you know how it is.Originally Posted by Swanny14

I am of the opinion that Chrome is heavier and slower than Firefox!
to open multiple tabs in Chrome in Firefox and then see which one is consuming more memory.
