I love how people that couldn't be bothered to post on this forum for years and even then not unless it specifically pertains to getting something for themselves suddenly start coming out of the woodwork when some thread like this gets created.

Well... I'll try my luck.
I've been looking for what.cd for a very long time, and I've tried everything including the interview (but my country is banned from the IRC) and trading. The reason is the content (1 million torrents+ from what I've heard). I download a lot of music. I'm a power user on Waffles and I can provide proofs from other trackers too. I've never had any problems maintaining a good ratio anywhere.
If I get an invite here, I'll give up trading forever

Did you check the invite section on those other trackers, if any? What.cd invite giveaways are allowed there, if they're invite-only.
