Hello, I am bought "Radeon 9200 128MB DDR 8X AGP" By Gigabyte
I am going to install it by myself.

Is this okay to put Radeon in this motherboard
But the motherboard Noted: The AGP slot only supports NIVIDA 4XAGP cards.

Elite K7SEM << motherboard
AGP 4X
(built in) SIS730 3D CARD
256 MB SDRAM
==================
AMD ATHLON 2000 + XP << Processer

I am worried that it will f*** up my computer?
Help me please!

I don't think that it will damage your board, but it will only use 4X as that is all your board supports...

So the Radeon 8xAGP will downgrade to 4xAGP ? right? no damage?

Yeah, clocker's correct, its backwards compatible. It just will run at 4x instead of 8x. Nothing to worry about, won't damage anything.

To be honest I highly doubt that a motherboard can somehow only support Nvidia Grahpics cards, so just go ahead and install it, and see what happens.

Im sure it will all go fine.

yeah they probably have a contract with Nvidia to say that

Haha you have a good point their... you have a good... point... but I have one more problem... i have a built in SiS730 Graphics card, and It said to use the BIO's
to disable it BEOFORE you install your graphics card...but I dont have a clue how to go there... something about restarting while pressing delete for 10 seconds?

PS So the elite motherboard K7SEM with 4xAGP can handle 9200 8xAGP? alright guys! keep those responeses coming in!

Just click "restart system" and after Windows logs off and the screen goes black, press "delete".

Welcome to the magic world of BIOS.
