I live in an apartment as you know and this building has no hot water. We called in many times complaining and it's not been fixed, but it seems like no one else calls, maybe other people here don't take showers? :x

What do you think I should do about the hot water?
    Ohh noo!!! I make dribbles!!!

    Yer in Canada, right?

Don't know if it's the same there, but here in the US, you can legally withhold rent for such things. You could also check to see if there's some sort of government office designed to deal with landlords who are remiss in repairing their properties.

Or there's always the obvious alternative.... MOVE!

    More complaints?

    That's ridiculous!

What if you were living in a single-family dwelling?

Can I assume Keikan, that the " office " has plenty of hot water ?

If that's the case, line up all your friends and family with pots, buckets and any containers you have handy and, one at a time, knock on the office door asking for a bucket of hot water until they decide to fix the problem.

look at your tenancy agreement & if all in your building has no hot water refuse to pay rent.this is an enviromental health issue.
