After you guys finished downloading a file on bittorrent, for how long do u seed?
What's your share rating ?
I downloaded a movie of 715MB and i uploaded 460MB , I have a share rating of 0.656, is it good?

I upload twice what I download.

my share ratio is like 520 mb to 732 mb , full file size = 1.4 gb

Me too. Twice what I download. More if I totally forget to check the computer.

i limit my uploads to 1kB/sec and try to stop sharing just as my download finishes

edit: i&#39;m surprised i haven&#39;t been flamed yet...

in reality, i never use bitt now

i generally try to keep up at least a 1-1 ratio, though its somtimes hard to say (esp if i close a torrent, then reopen) but for some special friends, i just dl whatever, then leave the torrent open until everyone is done.

not sure but when i dl i let the ul go to about 15 kB/s this is nearly my whole ul amount

U can see if it is good or not by looking at the color and the little face on the side if it&#39;s red it will have a sad face which is not good green is just the opposite.

werid , on the shadow client

i get a share ratio of something that looks like o.o and then it shows a :-] or something like that. And other times it shows 1.0 and a happy face

the "0.0" is actually an on its side 8, meaning infinity...this is when youre seeding stg but not dling
