Thread: Cheapest Dvd Burner

    Could someone point me to some cheap dvd burners, preferably teh cheapest, speed dosent matter, just as long as id can burn DVD, i dont need any fancy features, im running winxp home ed if it matters, thanks.

    That is not a DVD burner. That is a combo CD burner/DVD player.

    by format you mean regions an all that crap? well im in ireland and i wont be watching any foreign films or anything, just as long as i can watch dvd that i could buy in the shops and use on my dvd player.

    By "format" I mean DVD+RW or DVD-RW or DVD-RAM format.

    The single format units will be somewhat cheaper, you can google for more info on which single format you may be able to live with.
    Personally, I'm waiting till after Christmas when I bet that everything goes on sale, and I'm getting a Sony dual format burner.

    And a Soundblaster Audigy Platinum and a Radeon 9800Pro and a new Ferrari...

    Get a dual format dvd burner from sony. it was pricey when i bought mine but the price of it has dropped..... i got my sony dvd burner at trade price
