A small step I'll grant, unfortunate though that it relied on the "medical" aspect to prevail.

"Medical" marijuana strikes me as a backdoor way of avoiding the morality issue that is in fact the barrier to legalization.
Opponents have absolutely zero proof to sustain their objections, they wrap themselves in swaddles of Biblical rhetoric and thinly veiled "Because I said So!" absolutism and until directly confronted, will prevail.

Especially in America, because we're stupid.

It appears that Canada might be the first country to have cannabis legalized. According to the table on Wikipedia; in most countries it's either decriminalized or illegal.

The whole place started to go to hell as soon as we let the draft dodging American bastards with their orange VW minibuses in .

Actually in started to all go bad with the Loyalists but technically we weren't a country then. That and most had the bad sense to settle in the Maritimes or whatever that backwater area is called.

Now you guys will have to build a southern border fence to keep the hippies out. At least our illegals are willing to work.

If there was an effective border it be unconstitutional as would prevent the Aboriginals from smuggling .
