    I don't think I quite understand hashes, though I've tried and tried to utilize them. Is there ANYONE who can break it down for me, preferably in English?

    A hash is an individual code for a file on the fasttrack network.

    If you enter a hash into k-sig that someone else has posted, kazaa lite will use the hash to find this file and download it.
