I have TL and IPT but alot of movies still missing and its not only for movies..

Despite all the drama about PTP, it is probably the best movies tracker. It has the contents of KG, goem,little flavours of cinemaggedon, and your regular scene/p2p releases. True you can get all the content if you search a few trackers, but why bother if it has all at one place.

Pity they disabled my account. Made a little buffer over few months. The mod said I can get in there again if I go through proper channel (what.cd etc), but I am not gonna bother, with all my buffer gone. As I said I can get all the content from other sites, just that I have to click a few more times.

I guess you HMthePM are the bt equivalent of the illegal alien who despite years spent gainfully employed in a country thus already proving himself a good citizen still lives entirely at the whim of the muscle flexing of the bureaucrats .

I understand that they want to discourage indiscriminant giveaways at sites like FST but I fail to see how indiscriminant giveaways elsewhere ,PTP sanctioned or not , are any safer or for that matter necessarily lead to 'better" members.

If they really feel the need to be that anal suggest maybe going to irc applications although the "sanctioned giveaways" are probably nearly as comforting and at the same time a lot less work .

I guess you are right(unless I am reading it wrong). How does it matter if I get it from here or from some other source. It doesn't affect their security in any way. Unless they are closed like hdbits , people who wants to get in will get in.
Its not like I cannot get back at their site, but why bother. They once kicked me and said they dont want me their, why should I waste my time again. I use torrents to download stuff, not make a career out of a site. So I will download elsewhere.

TC is a very good (and rather similar, since Gazelle based, too) alternative.

TC is good but I dont think it has half the content as that of PTP. I am not a member there so cant be sure. Just talking from the reviews.
BTW revtt is also pretty good for movies. And older torrents come at bearable speed.
