Thread: Mammoth! Awsome Program!

  1. #1
In my search to find a new, fast file sharing program, i stumbled across Mammoth!
This is a great filesharing program that is in only early stages, but stil is very stable and is probably the lowest CPU usage file sharing program ever!

It is available to download from here: http://mammoth.sourceforge.net/

It connects to the Fasttrack network and has a great graphical interface.
I strongly suggest this program to any persons trying to find a new file sharing progam, or if you are stil lusing K++ etc.

it ahs an integrated IRC so you can chat, and a statistics feature showing you are large array of statistics for the program etc.

Its great for those slow computers, or if you are just trying to save Resouce usage.

    Try it today!

I asked Sander about the program and here's what he said I asked about possiable new features and a release date.

"Thanks for reminding me. I've posted some news on the homepage. This
will not give an answer on your question though. It's more of a sign
    for
    telling people I'm not dead.

For me as mammoth is now, It has no future. (and fasttrack is definitly
not the future for me) It needs new features that other client don't
have. I'm very busy working on that. That's all I can say."

Mmmm. Did Sander say that Mammoth has no future?

I tihnk its great just the way it is. All those features, pfft most people dont even need. Just touch up on the existing features and add a few more but not too many and it wil be great.

Well that's what he said and it's fine with me cuz I use KCeasy for my FastTrack needs.
