It's worrying; entertainment is being pornified. I haven't seen this film but I imagine it's a lot like Thor: small snippets of instant gratification strung out into a 1.5 hour sequence. I like to think of myself as a movie buff but things have gotten so bad studiowise filmwise that I can't even muster up the enthusiasm to steal any of the new releases off the internet.
Shame to hear about Thor ,I was genuinely looking forward to it as I thought Branagh might the man to add some weight /breathe some life into the Shakespearean tragedy aspects of the story . Of course seeing what Ang Lee did with The Hulk I wasn't holding my breath.
As for Fast Five as one critic pointed out it's greatest sin is trying to be smarter than it is. That and as caper flick castings go Vin Diesel ain't no George Clooney .
