Oil Rig Pic?
Whoohoo - your imagination needs a tune up bro -

Yepp, used to play - not anymore. Not publicly anyways. I digressed from playing to being roadie/sound engineer/road manager blah blah blah....

They say every sound guy is a frustrated musician waiting to get buried - thats me -

Yeah I heard that before, and to be honest, I'm not that good but I never get frustrated cos I love playing, when I'm learning a new song and I get to a bit thats like 45 notes in a 4 beat bar I burst out laughing , but I can honestly say that in the 5 years I been playing I have never once got frustrated

Start up again dude

As for my imagination..........you don't wanna go there

I am a sound guy too. Just part time these days. I got sick of having to drive the truck and work the gigs. I always have found the crew people to be much cooler and in touch with reality than the artists (especially the bigger name acts).

I hear ya - but a couple of bands i met have been the exception:

Joan Jett
Helix (Canada)
Dr Feelgood
Steve Gibbons
Jukka Tolonen (my absolute favourite Finnish musician)

To name but a few.

These dudes were ace, extremely nice and friendly

Peace
