So, I got this new wireless router, (NetGear WNDR3400) hooked up to my PS3. And consistently, (sometimes it takes a few minutes, to maybe an hour or two), but the PS3 will be dropped from the media server/access point. There is almost never a DNAS error. I have tried disabling upnp, turned on/off media sharing, rebooting, using a static address, disabling firewalls. Nothing....

Also something to keep in mind.

    1. Both wireless servers(From Desktop & Laptop) are disconnected from the PS3, when this happens.

    2. Internet is consistent, and wireless is consistent. Never have any outages on the Laptop.

    3. I have never been disconnected from playing online, or PSN.

Any solutions? Work arounds? Something I should have double checked, that I may have overlooked?

    Thanks in Advance

Have you tried putting the PS3 in a DMZ? This can be done in the router configuration and all it does is disable all firewall protection. You mentioned that you tried disabling firewalls already so this might be moot. :/
