http://www.videolan.org or you can play it in your stand alone dvd player if it supports vcd/svcd

you dont need to burn it onto a dvd disk.
you can watch it with windvd.
you do not need to change the format.
in windvd or videolan, simply find the .mpeg file which is in the directory MPEG.

I odn't understand
if you installed videolan
as soon as you open it, can't you see the button you check to pick VCD ?
should start playing, at most you will have to tell it witch drive your VCD/svcd is ?

No there was many folders! Some saying dat and some saying something else!
Their was no Mpg files in any of the folders.....
I got the movie from suprnova.org... the movie is The Rundown, also got secondhand lions and Matrix 3 and all of them are KVCD! WHat the hell is KVCD I have both the programs and I am a biginner... bad speller but usually can work two simple programs...
So maybe I have just burned them wrong or something else...

no you don't get it

when you open video lan click the disc icon (the second icon right after the folder icon&#33, then it will play your vcd/svcd

heres a step by step

what part don't you get

if you still can't get it, opening the dat will play the same vcd
good luck to you
