I have the Firewall that comes with windows XP, it's called ICF (Internet Connection Firewall).

i'm fine with ICF - it passes all firewall tests i've tried
it doesn't import the bad ip list, but if it did i wouldn't know what to do with it

Most dislike the built in firewall, for me personally, I use Zone Alarm Pro.

    Get ZoneAlarm

If you attack the establishment long enough and hard enough, they will make you a member of it.

ICF only works on incoming connections. It does not block any outgoing traffic such as spyware, trojans or even when windows media player wants to phone home. I have 17 microsoft processes that want to access the internet, everything from word to office xp component. They can't without permission.

I disabled ICF and use the free version of zone alarm.
