    As for video PotPlayer is currently the best player.

    Sadly, for some reason I couldn't manage to get the last one working in my desktop computer - it does however work flawlessly in my laptop

    I've used that combination, however I still prefer PotPlayer.

    Foobar2000 is great but i wish the skinning procedure was easier . It takes some time in order to install a theme correctly

    Other than that , is very fast and reliable piece of software

    I sort of hate to admit it, but if you're on a mac iTunes is the best. Its not nearly as useful on a PC though, in that case I chose winamp.

    OT: I plugged in a super old comp from my high school days (like 12 years ago) and really enjoyed looking at the HUNDREDS of ridiculous winamp skins I had way back in the day.
