I think the best measure is not to reply, and consider getting extra "protection" for your torrenting (OK, that sounded a bit icky), for example an IP filter if you aren't using one already.
Weren't you from Brazil? If I'm right, I doubt they'd sent a letter in the first place.![]()

Good advice.
Very bad advice.
I managed to get three cease and desist letter copies from law firms who collected IPs from Pussytorrents. Don't even think that you can protect yourself with any sort of IP filter. All you need to collect IPs in a swarm is uTorrent and any(!) IP hence a random internet connection. No IP filter will protect you against this.

It's basically a "pay or else" scheme brought to you by greedy lawyers and production companies who see it as an additional income. Your ISP has nothing to do with it but is forced to hand out your address if a judge decides it. It depends of course on your country and the legal situation there.
They pretend to protect copyrights when it's really all about making a quick buck. It's a shame that the law is on their site.
If you're from a country where these letters are popular the only advice is to stay away from big public sites.
Isnt this site the porn site run by torrentleech? If so it wouldn't surprise me since they have the same issue on TL also.
You should actually reply, then? "I didn't snatch anything", "yes, I was pirating porn", "no u"?
I never said IP filters are flawless or anywhere near 100% effective. It's clear that not all "bad" IPs are known, and that they constantly change. But using a well-reputed one is certainly better than torrenting "naked". Hence my advice.I managed to get three cease and desist letter copies from law firms who collected IPs from Pussytorrents. Doesn't surprise me a site like Pussy would start getting such letters. For those who have been reading the news, the porn industry is now the major suer. And seeing Pussy is a de facto public tracker...
