Sound Not In Sync After I Made The Wav. File 2 Mp3

Alright this is my problem and its pissing me off.

I ripped the dvd and have 7 vob files. I used dvd to avi and got the wav. file and the xvid file for each. Now when i join it with vdub and compress the video. to divx 4 fast motion and compress the audio to mp3 64kb 22,050 and when i played it the sound wasnt in sync grrrrrrrrrrr.

Here is where i got my guide from. Maybe there is a mistake the guy did in his guide and its not my fault after all. Yay

Just some more info about the crash problem

An out-of-bounds memory access (access violation) occurred in module 'l3codecp'...
...while compressing audio using "Fraunhofer IIS MPEG Layer-3 Codec (professional)" (Audio.cpp:1713)...
...while running thread "Dub-I/O" (thread.cpp:120).

AND THIS HAPPENS WHEN I TRY TO SYNC IT WITH MP3. IT HAPPENS AT ABOUT 87%
